Education, Experience, Approach

Dr. Minor received her Masters and Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology at the University of Kansas.  She has been working as a psychologist with her Masters since 1991 and with her Ph.D. since 1996.  She has received specialized training in the area of eating issues.  

Personally speaking, Dr. Minor was born and raised in the Kansas City area.  She is married and the mother of two children.

Dr. Minor incorporates a variety of perspectives and techniques in her therapeutic approach, but has a basic foundation in developmental and cognitive-behavioral theories.  She works with adolescents and adults.
